My main has plastic slugs that slide up a mast track. It is a pain as it jams. What is the best stuff to spray into the mast track to lubricate it ?

Thanks

I have used HOLT PRO-LUBE Silicon.PTFE Lubricant. Minimises friction and helps prevent corosion in marine hardware such as luff groves and sail slides. Travellers and Tracks Blocks and Cleats
At least thats what is says on the can and has worked a treat for me

Almost any wax or silicone polish will help.
A wax polish with ptfe is my choice.
If you can somehow run a rag or similar soaked in polish up and down the track, it will help by cleaning out all the guano and grime.

I use a Teflon spray. Can't think of the product name and it's down on the boat. Mainsail slides up and down like a .... /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
