What is the best/safest solvent to remove the stickiness from the waterline area on my Plastimo inflatable.

I know this is no help at all! but what material is it constructed from, 'cos this will determine what you can safely use. For that matter, I'd like to know what my Honwave 3.2 airdeck is made from (it's for sale in case anyone missed it) so that I can bring it up to as new condition, so I guess we're both hoping for some advice on this subject. By the way, what to use for cleaning mooring ropes with?

Stickiness is normally the PVC breaking down. If this leads to residue from the pvc being wiped off on a cloth then there is only one remidy:





a can of petrol and a match.
