I bought the correct polymarine two part adhesive for the rib material, followed the instructions, one pad stayed glued on 4 weeks and parted company, the cured adhesive seems weak and gell like and peels easy and the adhesive is all on the pad.......... the rib has only small traces of glue, so before I re stick is there a better glue available?

I glued an extra mooring/grab handle on a Zodiac PVC RIB with two part glue about 5 years ago and its still there now. I used glue and cleaner from IBS (Inflatable Boat Supplies) http://www.ibs-boats.com/ in Essex. They are the UK distributors for Valiant. I have found them very helpful over the phone if you want advice about glue etc. I think the cleaner / solvent does act as a primer. It is important to follow the instructions on drying times between coats of adhesive and to clamp the joint up tight while it sets. I used ropes from internal fittings of the boat to the trailer and used various pads to apply pressure to the fitting. In your case with a tender you could probably go right round the boat.
