Actually, I already read STS more years ago than I can remember (highly recommended, btw), but the convenience of having it as a PDF file is priceless.

With my usual lack of modesty, you might find Reeds Weather Handbook more useful for UK and European use. Available in hard copy and as an e-book. Neithr will break the bank.
