Sterling alt booster fitting notes

Now have a pre-used yellow 4 step alternator booster, anyone got a copy of fitting and operating notes I could have a copy of ?

the one i fitted had a small label inside the cover with the wiring colours and battery bank configs.

Thanks, unfortunetly mine has setting detail, not wiring detail. Tried Sterling website, but appears this unit is to old for there downloads.

Don't know about the "yellow" detail, but my Sterling Alternator controller is about 5 years old. As we are both in Cornwall, I could easily provide a copy of the instructions if it is likely to be the same model.

First, you have to decide which type it is, they all look similar! The original analogue and digital modles needed connections made to the alternator brushes. The latest digital does not. Look on the Sterling website for installation details.

Build date is 1998, looks analogue, the web site does not appear to go back that far.

Try ringing Sterling direct with the serial number. They should confirm type and send instructions. If you get desperate, I think that Skipper_Stu used the analogue version on Sonsy Lass. You could pm him for help.

I have a yellow sterling alt regulator of about that vintage. Will look out instructions tonight.
