According to The Sunday Times there's been a bit of a wedding do up in Scotland over the weekend. The McCartney girl I mean. The usual stuff 100 grands worth of flowers 100 grands worth of security and the groom went sailing on the £6,000,000 yacht Drum.

Now I saw Drum last year and it looked a bit of a skip. When on earth was it worth £6,000,000 quid?

Good news though. If it's worth that much my 25 footer must be worth about £1,000,000.

Saw her in Tarbert about 3 weeks ago. Looked pretty good to me, certainly better than when I crewed on her in the Scottish Series. Didn't see her sails, though.

Apropos nothing very much...

...did anyone else see the recent documentary about the Rolling Stones? At one point Mick Jagger's daughter (and very nice too) said that she'd taken her daughter along to one of the Forty Licks concerts, "so that she could see Grandad at work".

She really only cruises with the R/R genny. Hardly ever puts her main up. Both sails are pretty shot. I would say they havn't been replaced since she came to the Clyde.
