Sorry, another post from me, but you lot are just too bloody helpful!
There's a lot of free play at the wheel on my boat, with Ultraflex steering. If I move the wheel left and right, I can see the cable moving at the console before the outboard engages and moves.
Weirdly, if I move the outboard by hand, the wheel move instantly with it.
Any tips? I was going to replace the steering cable, but it seems odd that the free play is only at the helm, so maybe that's the issue, though that cable is moving fine there...?!
Any tips most appreciated!
