About ten years ago we purchased a 26ft Steel Lemster,'Wandering Star', built in Holland in 1963. They were very popular in the 1960's. We originally thought it was a vertue. Now we have sailed it to Australia. There are a few Vertues here but but no Lemsters. Are there any other Lemsters still sailing? Cheers!

I'm just in the throes of buying COLROS, a 1966 Lemster - she's still just about seaworthy but needs a fair bit of work. The previous owner had her since 1978, and gave me the names of a few others he'd come across - including Wandering Star. I'd love to pick your brains on Lemsters generally, as I'm planning a fairly major rebuild. This one was built by Kuypers.
(Definition of classic small yacht - 5 tons, 4'6 draft, and still no standing headroom!)
