I´ve been wondering round the harbour, drooling over a few Ferretis and various other rather nice beauties. However, not knowing anyone, I´ve a rather cheeky request...anyone fancy giving us a trip out sometime this week-when you are going yourself perhaps?

Ok, it´s a real longshot...anyone in Formentera with a nice boat is NOT on the Internet anytime this week!

I´ll be posting pics when I get back in any case. Lovely place. I recommend La Sabina Hostel, which is by the Harbour and overlooks the lagoon (it´s about 3 metres to the water!!!). Beautiful place.

Will be online later or tomorrow I´m sure, just in case LOLOLOL.

If you see Jan and Ken on Octola, a 42' schooner, get them to call me, please!! I wanted to invite them to my wedding, I'll leave my telephone number on a PM for you, thanks.

Must be wealthy to stay there! We hired scooters on the island for a couple of days, but I remember asking the cost per night for our little 32 footer and was told £52.00 and that was in 1999! Unbelievably, water and electricity were EXTRA to that! Lord knows what they charge now.

After we'd finished laughing we went to our usual anchorage about 100 yards from the entrance and anchored in turquoise water over white sand - fabulous and free!

Well, there is a gap in the market here for taking out tourists on boats me thinks.

When we went to Forteventura, we got a nice platinium cruise as they called it on a 48 foot motor boat, a sweet looking flybridge who´s make I´ve yet to discover (I was pretty boat ignorant at the time sadly). He took about ten of us out and jetskiied us to a nice fish restaraunt. We all came back mildly drunk due to the honey rum the captain served us.

It seems here in Formentera, no'one is running an enterprise quite like that. I´d almost be tempted to bring DreamFinder over, only she´s not quite modern enough perhaps.

Still it´s definitly a little niche here!!
Next time, I´m going to investigate chartering a nice cruiser here.
