Last Monday as we were moored in Rothesay Bay we heard the Harbour Master instructing a Clyde Pilot boat who was leaving the harbour against the red lights to 'remain where you are'. When the pilot boat continued and exited the harbour, the Harbour Master continued to try to raise him on channel 16 but was studiously ignored.

One wonders what the outcome of this incident might be. A week before a Grand Banks who entered the harbour against the regulations was reported for a 'near miss' by the skipper of the ferry. Does the fact that it was a Clyde Pilot boat make any difference.

Any thoughts.
