Start of season diesel price update.

Just wondered, as the season kicks off, what people are paying for 60:40 red diesel at their local marina.

I’ll start with £1.70 at Titchmarsh.

Considering 40% of that is reduced tax it seems a tad high given fully dutied white is circa £1.65 on the road.

I’m interested in genuine marina supplies, not what you can get it for off your farmer mate etc.

To right ,that’s rip off , my local esso garage is £ 1.59 and that’s likely to be better fuel than the rubbish at the floating fuel stations with loads water and god knows what else in it ,

Interesting - Titchmarsh were the cheapest in the area over the last couple of seasons. Sounds like a little profiteering is going on.

I was told it was roughly equivalent of£25 a yacht tank full in Cuba . One thing that’s cheaper apart from rum apparently.

What the petrol cost per litre at Farndon MartynG?

As a comparison, Costco fuel southampton is £1.48 for diesel and £1.38 for petrol, obviously you would need a lorry to get your boat there .

We paid 2.20euro p/l in Malta for Diesel. Heading Sicily in a few weeks, expecting much the same

£1,27 at grimsby marina not sure cost savings are worth trade off of location though. but if you're based in hull marina its definitely worth you going to grimsby or goole to fill up since aquavista are turning up the profit tokens yet again in their continued attempts to run the marinas into the ground.
