Start of autumn?

Just been out and tightened all the covers on boats in anticipation of forecast wind and rain... Thankfully they're on the driveway so didn't even need to go far I can't quite believe how warm it is outside still and suspect it will come as a shock when normality returns!

Had to use lights on the car driving home tonight for the first time and can't help thinking that there won't be that many good days boating left this year.

Hope so - planning on replacing fuel pump diaphragm on outboard and a few other jobs outside... :encouragement:

Popped down to the Marina to check my cover last night also. Need to go down today and rig up some kind of pole to raise the centre so rain will run off better.

I'm desperate to leave her in the water a few weeks more before hauling out for the winter!!
