Hi all

Any ideas where to fit a 2nd manual bilge pump.

Also with the internal moulding there are only three pipe conduits from the bilge, two already in use with the raw water inlet and cockpit bilge pump.

Has anyone seen the internal plumbing for a 2nd manual (internal) pump, and an auto one?

Ta.

I have a second manual pump fitted inside the small locker under the stbd berth cushion just forward of the table. It has a length of loose flexible hose on the inlet side which can be routed to the bilge or similar. Outlet is taken to the forward cabin to a skin fitting under the forward cabin sink.

I rerouted the main bilge pump hoses this winter - the original was only 1" i/d (for a 1.5" bilge pump!) so replaced with proper 1.5" hose. New hose runs under the galley floor panel, under the aft cabin floor, along the cable/pipe route in the aft cabin and then direct into the port cockpit locker rather than the stern locker.

Have no plans to fit an auto electric pump.

Thanks, not thought of that (using the forward cabin).

Sounds like you have had to have cut holes in the underfloor bulkheads/bracing.
