Starboard engine relutant to engage ?

Hi guys, managing to do most of the work on my VP AD41,s these days. One problem yet to resolve is the starboard enginge. Revs fine but when it comes to pushing forward on the throttle it slowly increases the revs and then eventually engages with a bit of a clunk. I think its something to do with an adjustment under the cover of the stern drive leg, but not sure. Fairline Targa 1990 build, duo props

Sounds like the problem i had with mine last year 290dp it was the cone clutch. Got a recon gearbox from coastal rides from memory £500 i think plus lift and two hours labour.
