Hi,when I start my plotter it takes a lot of time to get the position,it seems that the internal battery is out of order and does not keep the last position.Have you an idea if the internal battery fails is it difficult to put a new one. Thanks for your advice

Once it has got a position, what date does it think it is? My CP175 has had the rollover problem, and thought we were back in 1999. Therefore the internal almanac of satellite positions is wrong and it takes longer to find a position.
If that is your issue you can solve it by buying a new GPS aerial (its actually an active aerial so all the work is done within the aerial itself and the data transmitted to the plotter as an NMEA0183 sentence)

On mine the date is correct, but every time I stop the plotter its like a cold start, the last position is not kept in the memory and it takes quite a long time to get a new position

Your CP175 has an active antenna, but I believe that the OP's CP150 uses a simple passive antenna. I guess it would be possible to feed NMEA position data in to the CP150 using a new active antenna, but that's a bit expensive if all it needs is a battery.

Yes I am sure its a CP 180I.I open it and at first look dont find any battery linked to the motherboard,I dont go further than removing the rear of the plotter
