Does anyone have any info on the pin outs on these remote mics?
I've just gotten hold of a s/h SH GX1500e, the fist mic hard wired on a rather short curly lead but it has a rear socket for a remote commander mic.
I can't afford or need most of the commander mic functions, but a 2nd basic mic on a lead long enough to reach the tiller would be really handy.
I have a spare generic mic, lots of curly cable and the correct 8pin plug, but i don't know which pins to use or avoid.
I am only looking for mic+, PTT TX and ground at a guess. CH+/- and 16 buttons are probably logic controlled and I can live without them.
TIA
Chris
