Iveu not had that particular model but have bought an 1850 and 890 hand held.

Good bits of kit and responsive UK customer support.

I use an 1850 base set with a RAM mike, brilliant piece of equipment, very well built, good audio, logical menu.

I’m pretty sure I have an 1850 and it’s done everything that’s been asked of it.

we have one on our Leader, 2 years on, no problems, good little VHF
