SWMBO says I am allowed to use my own money to get a new chart plotter next year.:)

I noticed that Standard Horizon are bringing out a couple of WiFi enabled plotters. Being a techie this really appealed to me, but I had sort of settled on the idea of a Garmin 556 or a 750. Not sure which way to go now.

Does it seem a good bit of kit? Does anyone actually have one?

Not been officially launched in the UK yet. Will be at London.

They look very cool, being able to access internet on your plotter when in range of a WiFi signal.

Radar will be the thing the watch for though. They have told me it will come with an ethernet radar. Typically SH products have not been very radar friendly. I really hope they get this sorted on the new models.

Thanks Neale. Looks like a nice bit of kit.
