Does anyone know of a stand-alone piece of Windows PC software which will pickup NMEA data and display a "Rolling Road" pointing towards a waypoint and show XTE graphically.
(Like the one found on some GPS repeaters like the NASA GPS repeater)

Having used a NASA unit on our last boat, my wife prefers to steer to this sort of display rather than watching a compass heading.
I use a Windows based PC (OpenCPN) navigation system at the chart table and I'm in the process of configuring a wireless cockpit repeater, so the rolling road would simply run in another window on the PC and I would alternate between chart display and the Rolling Road.
I know that OpenCPN has a rolling road plugin display as does NavMon but they are both small (as is the NASA repeater display) and would be difficult to follow from the helm so I'm after something that can be maximized to a full-screen window.
Google just finds dedicated marine units or military software.
Thanks
Steve
