Stanchions tops

I am looking for a replacement white nylon top for a stanchion. The stanchion is approx inch stainless steel that this top inserts into, with a small pin to hold it, and the top wire passes though. I have no idea who the manufactures are, or where to get a replacment.

A small engineering work shop should be able to make one. Even a school technology workshop.... do you have any children at secondary school?

These things are almost as rare as rocking horse manure. However I did manage to buy some from Jimmy Green Marine. Though the last time they were only able to supply two of the three I required. If you do get some and they come with the grommits for the middle of the stanchion I'd be pleased to here from you.

Have got a two year old who goes to a play group - but don't think play-dough would be strong enough.
My concern is that i would distroy one taking it out to use as a template - that would leave me missing two!

Have just spoken to Jimmy Green Marine who can no longer get them or can remember who was the manufacture. Do you who the manufacute was?
