They are for Juno IV the first carbon fibre racing yacht by Tony Castro which is now based in Southampton you can follow her on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/JunoIV she won the Admirals Cup twice along with many others.

Depends on where you are. You might find the base is the same size as standard ones, either stainless fabrications or cast aluminium. There are several different suppliers of such things so you need to go to a good chandlers and look through their catalogues. They may not look identical but will be functionally OK. Alternatively you need to find a stainless steel fabricator, not necessarily marine who will copy them. Difficult to suggest anyone without knowing where you are, but a google or Yellow Pages for your area will help find one.

mrtoots,

I've never seen stanchion bases like that, but I can recommend stainless fabricator Chris of CB Marine, he's based beside Chichester marina, up towards CYC; despite the location I found his prices good, and work excellent; I'm sure he could make a replica if given a sample to work from; 01243 511273 no connection except happy customer.

Hi. You probably need to speak to Tony Castro. All data would be in archive and retrieved for a price.

This looks like an aluminium replacement. The original stanchions were titanium to save ounces before they added 2 tons of lead ingot to the bilges for the racing rules stability at the time.

I owned Juno until around 2009 and it was really good to see her on the water at the RTI in looking in such good fettle!

I have various history on her if you would like to communicate and will pass on what I have...so long as I can come aboard some time and even do some crewing!
