Would somebody be able to identify the stair tread anti slip jiggery pokery things on the bottom left of the above image please?

I am currently having my galley done out in teak and holly and am considering "anti slip" options as I regularly fall down other peoples polished teak steps (Jamie..... you know what I mean! Pledge polish on the floor!!)

TIA!

Google for non slip strips for stairs and you will find loads of possible solutions

All due respect but I had done that prior to my post. I'm looking for the OEM finish of what is in the photo. Not some industrial bright yellow stair nosing offering :)

Ask the OM then! Who ever they may be.

I am sure I have seen similar on ogoole and ceratinly not all bright yellow

We could refer all questions to Google, but it would make for a rather boring forum. Besides, most boat related questions would come back to here anyway, so we can stop posting, asking/answering questions and just use the forum as an archive. Hope no-one comes up with any new questions.

I bought clear anti-slip from eBay this year. Plenty of types available and I was looking for clear tape exactly like the original tape on my varnished wooden saloon steps.

I couldn't find the same seller I used but think that this is similar.

I think this link might be for white tape but you can get transparent and it doesn't stand out too much from a varnished surface.

I removed the old tape, cleaned residual old "crystallised" adhesive and wiped with acetone. The self-adhesive replacement stuck well and still looks perfect. The tape becomes clear after sticking down and excess gritty material wears off in a couple of days. The strip becomes smoother but still anti-slip.

It does look exactly like the original tape Jeanneau use on their steps and the wood shows through the tape. I expect Beneteau would use the same thing. OP could look at other boats nearby to see if it would look OK for his boat. I'd say it is about the least intrusive type of tape. The alternative would be something "classier" which is a feature and meant to be seen (no idea what that would be though).
