The boat I recently bought had been laid up for about 5 years. The water that lay in the toilet bowl has left a stain that seems impervious to everything I try to remove it (lime-scale?). Has anyone here a 'magic' cleaner for my problem?.

Best limescale remover...

Best limescale remover is "Ataka", which you can get in small orange plastic bottles from Boots, etc. It's sold as a kettle descaler. Very effective. Contains formic acid - use gloves and avoid breathing fumes.

Good Limescale remover is a can of Coca-Cola (I'm not joking) Just pour in and let soak for a few hours and rinse/flush away. God knows what it does to your digetive system!!

I'm not joking

Just try leaving an old tooth in a glass of the stuff for 24 hours. You'll never see the tooth again!

Try Vinegar - that will work(just done it on my bowl) AND it found the hairline crack!!!!! so a new toilet for me!
