Hello,

I am looking to buy a stainless steel through deck wire conduit, those with a classic umbrella handle shape (reverse "U") fitted on modern sail yachts.

Do you know where these can be purchased and what is their name?

Why don't you go to a local fabricator and get one made up to your own spec, preferably one as far away from the sea as possible and don't mention the word boat when you are describing it.;):D

My boat has the small one not good for the radar cable, I am looking for the larger 35mm one. Could anyone point me to an on-line site selling these (one link above is a review, another does not work...)

If you might consider a trip that would involve taking down the mast ( ie French Canals) the Salty John option or simple multi cable deck glands ( connections inside cabin roof) could be worth a look. The gland fitting should of a size that the connnector ( VHF, Radar etc) can be withdrawn through the hole. Anything is better than deck plugs!
