I recently bought some really heavy duty stainless steel hinges from HomeBase made of what looks like polished 316....could be 304 either way for £6 a pair its got to be cheaper than any swindlery

Yes, I bought soeme SS piano hinge, heavy duty, 2Mts for £20 which includes P&P. and they do loads of other things besides http://www.fdb.co.uk/index_home.htm
