Hello - been hunting everywhere for a stainless steel fishing rod
holder that will attach to the guard rail of a boat that can order
in the UK. Found lots of flush mounted ones but no gaurd rail ones.

Type I'm after is cylindrical pipe with rubber insert (usually black),
one I used to have didn't adjust but have seen one recently on another
boat where you could alter the angle which seems a nice feature
but not essential.

Have trawled the net (no pun intended) but found lots of plastic ones
but had heart set on a stainless one.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Regards,

Lawrence

Try PM'ing "GC1" ........... he had one !! In his Grab Bag !!

Can't you simply attach a short length of tube to the pushpit?

Unless your standards are very high you could do something like the above but in stainless. Me, I prefer plastic because it is kinder to my rod and to my reel.

My Betterware one is actually a Golf Trolley Umbrella holder - free of charge .....

Not much use having an umbrella down here: a parasol would be more useful! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
