Bit of an odd question this, I have acquired a mooring block made of concrete, in the block is a one and a half inch thick carbon steel chain but through the chain links imbedded in the block are stainless steel bars to stop the chain pulling and to aid strength, there are two of these bars.
I was wondering what effect these bars would have against that thickness of steel and if indeed galvanic corrosion would have any effect in the middle of a concrete block.
What do you reckon.
