Hi I’ve removed both the stainless tanks from my storebro biscay 31 ,tanks both had a lot solid gunk in the bottom of the tanks, not sure it was diesel bug just built up old crud ,I’ve cut extra access hatch and can get at all of the sections now, it pressure washed out really well I’ve got adjustable angle head so can really get around the tank , but after cleaning it Is still bit greasy on the sides , pressure washer won’t get it off , what type de greaser would be ok to use , I was going to use tfr as I’ve got loads or maybe some jizer or fairly liquid ? Is it ok to use stuff like this in the tank ? I’m pretty sure I can get most of it back out by flushing , What have others used ? I want to make sure whatever i use it will get rid of any bug if there is any ,

if you can do it out side with ventilation and can get your arm into the tank areas i used car pre paint panel wipe solvent with clean non lint cloths, wipe on wipe off with clean rags. If that doesn't get it clean then Acetone will. but that is nasty stuff but works really well. got mine squeaky clean on areas the panel wipe didn't work as well
Use a painters respirator, and good solvent proof gloves.

I have poured it in the tank followed by pressure lance, and the tank was ashore, and damn heavy it was too evenwith all fuel removed
