Stablity Programs and or Motions Software

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any motions and/or stability programs that would be capable of determining the righting arms of a sailing boat, and/or the moments on the vessel.

Having worked as a Naval Architect, I used some of the software in the Office, such as GHS, Hydrostar and Moses, but was looking for some more basic packages without commercial licenses.

It would be really handy if anyone has a recommendation for this, otherwise I'll have a get the hand calcs out with Excel!

Sounds interesting but could not follow which program to use. Is it some form of MathCAD,
