Stabilisers ?

Could someone explain how digital stabilisers work ?

Well, only a bit. You have these flappy out things on the side of the boat, a bit like rudders, except up and down. There conected to a gyroscope. I had one as a kid, mine worked off string power, I expect they have improved on this. However, no matter what you do to a gyroscope, it always remains upright, even ballance on a piece of string. So I guess, with computer wizzerdry, if gyroscope says,lean left a bit, flappy things go right, or is that left. Well whatever, it goes opposit way to wave, so you stay upright'ish.

The fins need to be massively strongly installed as I am told they will happily tear the bottom out of the boat in rough weather.
Apart from that and the cost I reckon they would be great!
