The set up all Raytheon ST60 instruments
Wind angle is shown correctly on the analogue dial and corresponds to the actual wind angle
Autopilot control shows the correct heading from the fluxgate compass
But
The ST60 Multi instrument shows a 60 deg. error on both App wind angle and the Beaufort display.
What can cause this mismatch?

Strange. Being Raytheon, like mine, I presume they are quite old. The simplest thing might be just to unplug and replug, in case it is just the connections.

Sounds like the anemometer is wrongly mounted at the mast head, and the ST60 wind instrument has been calibrated to correct the error. The Multi instrument doesn’t have such a calibration function, so is showing you the raw data.

The autopilot bearing is a red herring: apparent wind angle has nothing to do with the fluxgate compass.

You can enter the calibration mode on the wind instrument (Google the manual) to check if this is right. If so, I think you’ll need to remount the masthead device - or continue to ignore what the multi display tells you about wind angle!
