Our Wind gauge has packed up. I have not re silicon greased it so far this year, so that may be it.
But...
The arrow on the dial points and moves, but not to the actual wind direction.
The wind speed figures move between 14-18kts regardless of actual wind.

Tried 'CO' drill, which worked once or twice, but then failed to reset/fix it any more. We noticed that 'P7' comes up in info box when going into 'CO'.
Nothing in Raymarine ST60 manual to say what this is/means.

Is it time for a Ticktack wireless windy and beans on toast, or can anyone help?

Try the Raymarine techies - you can ask a question on their website and they answer very quickly and very helpfully.

The problem with ours turned out to be a bad connection - in my limited experience that's usually the cause, so before you commit yourself to anything expensive, I suggest you clean and reconnect every possible junction.

Good luck

Geoff,
Thanks for that re P7 meaning-
We now think it's problems are tied in with outside helm position autopilot unit which failed on way over. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Bypassed it and windex woke up a bit. Going to take both into Raymarine for a checkover later this week- Rupert of Raymarine v. helpful in the Fecamp rain!
