My impellor seems to be getting fouled more and more quickly this year - just a matter of days. Is there anyway of preventing this or at least slowing it down?

Remove it after use and replace with a blank?

Try smearing vaseline over it all when clean - this lasts for half a season on my boat. Dont put too much on or that will stopp it moving
