I have problems with illumination of 2 of my ST60+ instruments.

1 The graphic display instrument has much dimmer illumination than the others (wind, speed, depth) even on setting 3 (which doesn't seem any brighter than setting 2) and is very difficult to read from the helm as it's mounted on the hatch garage. I noted this dimness on my previous boat too with an identical instrument but it was OK as it was mounted close to on the binnacle. (As neither instrument came to me new I don't know if this is normal.)

2 When you set the illumination level, the speed instrument initially lights up correctly, but after a few minutes it goes dim, about like level 1. Reset it and it comes up again, but only for a few minutes.

Wind and speed are fine. It doesn't make any difference which instrument you use for setting the level.

Anyone know enough about the illumination system in these to comment/suggest please?

Talk to Raymarine - they are very helpful.

The light on my graphic is significantly lower than the rest - irritating but not bad enough to cause a problem.
