My friend has an elderly RayMarine ST60 instrument system and the depth gauge has stopped working. You just get three horizontal bars across the screen. We know the sender is working ok, having tested it.

Even on EBay there are very few of these for sale, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a repairer? I have repaired the internals of Raymarine kit before but this is beyond me!

Cheers,

Three dashes suggest a transducer or cable connection problem, but you say you've tested that.
Before spending money on a repair, it might be worth trying to put the instrument into the intermediate calibration menu to check if it is in "master" mode.

Thanks everyone. I've tested the sensor and it is fine. It is definitely a gauge, not a tridata too. I'll check out the link. Thanks again.

I did go into the setup mode but I don't recall the Master mode. Do you know the navigation to that? Thanks
