Would like to visit but draught of 2.25m looks to be a prob. Swmbo likes daily showers and shorepower - any ideas? Looks like min depth is 1.8m

Daily showers are but a dinghy ride away from the outer harbour pontoons but you're right, 2.25m isn't an option for the normal visitors' marina. However, there are always a number of large local boats in the marina immediately to the North so I'm guessing, there might be more water. Why not call and see if they can allocate you a slot in there?

You can't get into Victoria Harbour with that draft. When I have been there in larger boats that draw over 2 metres, then I have always rafted up in the outer basin. No shore power and you will have to dinghy ride ashore for showers.

We draw 2.2 m
Just ask to go in the QE2 marina. They always put us there. alongside berth, electricity, but a long walk to the showers.

Last year we were allowed into the inner harbour at 45 feet drawing 2.1m. Berthed on the hammer head to starboard going in we had maybe 0.1/0.2m under the keel but stayed afloat.

Stay in the outer harbour and dinghy in. It's quite comfortable, actually.

We were told last summer that they have 4 places for our draught of 2.1m. You must have been lucky to have got one; we had to stay on the pontoon outside.
