St Kats visitor's charges

Supply & demand. Couldn't get in at all last year so I suppose to restrict demand while making more money makes sense. Not good for those who used to enjoy the cheap rates of a few years ago though ! TBH it makes more sense to carry on to Teddington if you can get under Hamersmith, no scrum to get out on high tide.

This year's tariffs for a one nights stay is £5.90 per meter up to 10m LOA and just North of £6 for boats in the next size band up.

It certainly wasn't cheap when I stayed for a few nights last year but this is/starting to get ridiculous!

A hotel room in Central London for £30/night (assuming 2 on board). Sounds cheap to me.

As a diehard socialist who daily has

I visited in July last year and there seemed to be quite a few vacant berths although a large contingent of Dutch boats arrived on the final day of our stay

Except I'm providing most of the things the hotel would

+1 for Limehouse - plus the added benefit of being right next door to the Cruising Association Clubhouse where they provide excellent food at very good price.
We went there last year in ours to see the Tall ships at Greenwich last year - £33 per night for our 34' with four on board is pretty hard to beat.

Plus I noticed the water is Lime coloured !

you're not the bugle player are you? :-) that was entertaining!
No, not me - All I have on board is a fog horn.
All that noise was to welcome back a marathon finisher.
He did well concidering the number of injuries he had before he even started.
