Clearly you will now be paying out the crew of the St Eveio I, but would it have worked without the bit parters online at the time (like the background characters in Henry Gondorff's betting shop in "The Sting")? I assume it's ok to form an orderly line outside the PoW this evening and you will see us right?

Re: PoW

i think i may have to rearange and attend the PoW.

cerinaly it wd not have worked without all the cast, cos numerous checks were made by the victim to others, whilst indeed everyone else stayed quiet (or wre just a bit dim) as a whole hour elapsed (so he cdn't edit) until we came out.

Re: edit

yep - the moderators can change the amount of time available for an edit even down to zero. I tried to gettem to stop it down but they didn't. In the event, it didn't matter.

It\'s true

I am a Brit .. heck we're all meeting in a pub they named after me.

After yeterday's English language tutorial, I thought it better not to post in English and anyway nobody has had a poke at the French for 24 hrs.

I will now revert to my personalised version of the Queen's English. -:)

Re: It\'s true

So you're a painter then? We are meeting in the "Prints of Whales" aren't we?

BTW my cousin used to have a sticker in her car saying "stop the bloody whaling". Didn't know you were a member of Greenpeace, Susie, I said. I'm not, said she, it's just for the baby in the back seat.

Re: It\'s true

Well I've been called an artist many times; not sure the preceding 'p' had anything to do with painting though.
