St Aldhems Head this Thursday? Any advice?
Hello all. I'm thinking of doing a single hander from Poole, where I'm moored, round to Chapman's Pool, stay the night and back on Friday morning. The last time I did it the overfalls were really horrendous, the 3 other crew jumped ship and went back overland!
I think this time it will be different, it won't be wind over tide if the forecast is right, and I might plan to get there just before slack water. However it will be a big spring tide.
Any advice for this area, also it looks like a South Easterly so would I get any sleep in Chapman's Pool?
