Just renewing my SSR.
Things have changed in the last 5 years.
Use to be very short and simple.
Now there are loads of bits of paperwork to load and scan, including a pre registration process.
And you have to pay (I thought it was free before?)
Mind you the certificates used to be so vague that I remember using the same cert for several successive boats ......... maybe thats why it had to change!!!

Forget all that.
The link in the renewal letter was to a confusing web page that led me down the wrong path that was not for part three registration.
All sorted with a couple of clicks now.
So to renew at least it is still simple.

Urggghhh, I followed that process and scanned in various bits of stuff.
It didn't say anywhere that it wasn't for Part Three.
Did you already have the boat registered online?

I had registered the boat on line, but now having gone through what I did, I think I have paid but not actually applied for renewal.
I am going to email them to see what I should have done.
Will let you know outcome.

Update.
My email has been answered.
I was right about not having applied in the end but all I have to do is sign the renewal letter confirming that there have been no changes and send it back to them!
