ss fabrication - can i get this from stock ?

i need to fix the bottom hole of a harken 57 carbo block to the end hole in the pin at the base of my mast

i can get ss swivel fittings, they are at least 66mm long = too long

so, if i put a pin through each hole and join it together with some ss cheecks with a top and bottom hole i'm in business

are these cheeck plates made in bulk ??

You mean ss straps a bit like this ?
How about using a length of spectra and lash the block on like this.

Try baseline marine products in Fareham. They do lots of little stainless steel products that may suit your application

thanks, yes i have been adv to use spectra prev, but i am concerned the rope will wear through on the ss fittings ??? that would be BIG trouble
