Square Mile (marina Broadband) good service

Squaremile (as mentioned again on TV Lion's den last night) has just sent me my account from my holiday use.

I subscribed on pay as you go and gave them my credit card details; gulp

I only used for a few minutes each day for 4 days, down loaded weather/charts and disconnected before I studied the charts.

The total bill is £8.67p


I was concerned what I would get charged as I didnt believe the 20p min but I am pleased to confirm the service was well worth £8.67 for a fairly quick connection speed and quality weather forecasts.

Do you remember what the rates were fo pay as you go ive just signed up to a blue tooth connection with orange and its costing £ 1 per mbyte

Not sure how many megabites you could get in a min ????

20 euros per month for 200MB, (£14 +/-)

alternatively Orange World at £1 per day unlimited - GRPS only, and cant be used with a 3G card

Get onspeed... after a week, it's compressing everything by 5 times... so my 200MB gets me 1Gb!

I think this service is better.
WiFi at MDL
It seems to be unlimited.
Good coverage and MDL berth holders get 50hrs free.
Mercury Yacht Harbour's service seems to work well.

Signed up originally with Square Miles £5.00 per month plus 100 minutes per month.
With family using the web ( when weather bad and stuck in marina !!!) 100 mins goes nowhere , had some horrendous bills £60.00 plus on 2 occasions so beware, I changed to £10.00 per month unlimited usage plus roaming, which I am happy with. Not to happy with coverage which always seems to indicate 'low' where ever you are.

I agree with the £10 per month, and as it is Bozi you can use your log in in a lot of places, the other thing I agree with in Marinas the best singnal I have ever got is low, even with the Sq Mile USB booster!!!

Do report problems with coverage to square mile/mymarina - they do have people who sort out problems, but they rely on customer feedback in order to improve their service.
