Further to my last post a squeal has developed in the transmission on High Noon. Jim has the feeling it might be the rear bearing of the Volvo gearbox possibly being caused by previous misalignment.
He has a near new dripless water seal with I think carbon faces.
Anyone had anything like this and if it is the gearbox is it a big job to fix it? olewill
