Having talked to the members this club programe is creating quite a bit of intrest in the cruising world, Sailing Monthly & RYA. In such times when YC membership development and VFM is of key concern.. SPYC seem to be seriously taking on the challange with the introduction of such innovative ideas thus getting new blood intrested in yacht cruising.

This will give you the outline of CP membership catergory and its objectives ... better still get in touch by the contact box and they are more than happy to invite you both down to the club and show you what they offer and how it works ...see if it suites your sail requirments.

The program is still relativly new but word is getting around fast about the unique benifits this membership presents so I would recommend you talk to Shotley Point Yach Club asap... They had a Crew Pool experience day at the weekend and I am aware they signed up three new members in one day ... so its becoming a very attractive VFM option for anyone who wants to develop big boat sailing skills and provides an acredited development path for all.
