While my forum frinds are thinking about drying out for winter here down under spring has come at last. Relaunched the little boat for the summer season yesterday.
2 hrs from home launch and rig the boat sail to the swing mooring and home agtain with empty trailer. No problems. SWMBO was a big help.
The little boat sailed so sweetly on a gentle breeze back to the swing mooring.
We have a competent crew course on Sat morning with 8 eager customers and a club race Sun afternoon. So back into it at last. olewill is happy.

OT but the title was a shoo-in;

The Spring has sprung,
the grass has riz,
I wonder where all the boydies iz?
Hark! The boyd iz on the wing!
but that's obsoyd;
the wings is on the boyd.

Best spoken in the voice of Jimmy Durante, with apologies to Damon Runyon if I've remembered it wrong.

On this side of the Indian Ocean my boat is in the water all year round and we don't have spring it either hot and humid or just nice and warm today high 29 C low 16 C wind 18 km/h humidity 48% perfect sailing weather problem is I'm stuck in JHB 600 km from boat at 2000m altitude. High 25 C Low 10 C wind 8 km/h humidity 13%.

SWMBO and I could not go back to live in the UK couldn't stand the UK weather now.

Perth WA 26 C and 13 C 10 km/h also perfect sailing weather. looks like a shower or 2 and Saturday and Sunday.
