I was going to build a boat with my son but I'm feeling fat'n old'n lazy!! Besides, we already have a 30 footer to look after. I have a dismantled mahogany school staircase, comprising treads, only about 10 no. left, ex. 250 x 50 x 1.2m long, they have a non-slip nosing insert but would recover to say 225 x 38 when cleaned up/planed/thicknessed.
Strings - 4 no. 200 x 75 x 2.0 - 2.4m long, These are not troughed for treads up the faces, but had blocks on the tops carrying the treads. They should recover to 150 x 75 or so or the full 200 if you accept cut-off mortices on one edge. Also some handrails about same length as strings, widths between 100 - 150mm and around a full 25mm thick.
Any one wants this lot it's going F.O.C, pm me to arrange to collect.
