Spring 25 throttle control

hi

it looks like my forward drive is 'slipping' and I feel I need to replace the throttle control, does anyone know if a 700 SS control work?

any teleflex control - there are many versions will work, although your choice may be constrained by the location of the control. The functional mechanism is all the same and take the same cables.

However there is a lot to check before condemning the control. If it is a Yanmar check that the gear lever on the gearbox is adjusted according to the manual. Whatever the gearbox, check the lever is actually engaging fully by disconnecting the cable and operating manually. check the cable is moving smoothly and the fixed part is firmly located. The control mechanism itself can become stiff through accumulation of grease and dirt so clean thoroughly.
