Spray hood recommendations

anyone put a name in the frame to make a replacement to our exhisting frame would be nice if i could get a good job done locally by some one reliable

The Mussetts (Nick, Jane & Adrian - there may be more for all I know) have just done a very nice job on all new canvas for Santana, including a full cockpit tent.

They do the canvaswork, but the stainless steel (i.e. the frame) they sub out. They do all the measuring though.

I know these things are all dependent on size etc but what is ballpark figure for a new sprayhood?

Mine is getting to the stage where I have to drop it in bad weather for fear of it blowing away - had it restitched 2 or 3 seasons ago and was told then it was the last time!

Mine, with a slightly complicated outward curve of the coaming, (Barbican 33), was £380+VAT.

For what its worth I would suggest giving Nick a bell..(he used to be the Sail cutter @ Gowen, before they were traken over by Oyster) tends to be very helpful & competetive!
