I feel the need to start this worthy enterprise with my own contribution. No photo, just a description. Nice white 3 foot fender with nice neat burn hole through it about four inches across. Any guesses how I achieved this on an otherwise superb day out up the Beaulieu River on Friday. Chugged up on one engine admiring the lovely Autumn Colours, rising tide so went further than ever before (up to the strange modernistic house for those who know the place) and came back to the marina visitor pontoons for lunch and no-one came for the money - paradise!

So - what was the cock up?

Gonna have to make these harder

uber eber exhaust burn hole:eek:

Right in one. Arrived on the boat, thought - bit dampish in here - just fire up the eber while I get everything ready to cast off from the marina. Stood by the boat with the docklines - heard a loud psst noise - couldn't locate it. Wandering down Portsmouth harbour SHMBO says -need to pump these fenders up ...........

OK - who's going to post the next one?
