I recently came across this thing, but I couln't see the name, hence the question.
I guess she was being refitted or something, 'cause she didn't show up on AIS.
Reminded me of Turmoil (Royal Denship), also in terms of size, but I don't think she's was built by RD...
Any ideas?

PS: before anyone asks, it's just out of curiosity - I'm not stretching my half idea of changing the boat up to that point...! :)

Close, Force Blue (Flavio Briatore's yacht) is much bigger. Does look a bit like her though.

Is that the one owned by Flavio?
Nope, I know that one, and she's an (almost) sistership of Turmoil, also built by RD, and as MrB said is even bigger.
I wouldn't say MUCH bigger, though. Turmoil is around 64m IIRC, and while I'm not sure about this one, she didn't seem very far from that...

Blimey J, and I was thinking to be good at web searching...! :)
Or did you actually know her, which would be even more impressive?

Regardless, yep, spot on.
A quick search confirms that she was built at Trinity in the US, and is now renamed Grand Rusalina.
Not an improvement on this score, 'fiuaskme.
But who am I to argue...? :)

I don't know her, though she is pretty famous and is perhaps the only famous recently built non Denship/non Feadship/non Lurssen of that genre. Not the sort of output you'd expect from Trinity
I do "know" Force Blue btw. I was on board as a party guest a few years ago. Very nice machine - quite "indestructible" feeling when you get close to her platework and machinery

I heard a whisper this might be on the agenda, but besides no doubt enjoying the lengthy challenge of deciding on a suitable replacement for your own lovely vessel P, it will be a sad day indeed to pass her on to her new owner......

Yes, indeed C.
She has been our sea home for 15 years, no less...
...but as of today, chances are that she will still be, in the foreseeable future.
We've yet to come across something we liked enough to take the plunge! :)
